With our new blog series “Stories Behind the Albums,” we’re opening the door to the behind-the-scenes world of Riven Earth. We’ll share how our albums came to be, the thoughts that guided us as we wrote, and the stories hidden between the lines.

Some songs were born from a single image in our minds, while others evolved over months or even years. Some recordings went exactly as planned—others took completely unexpected turns. A New Chapter Begins

While we’re currently looking back on the stories behind our previous albums, something new is already taking shape behind the scenes. Riven Earth is currently working on its fifth studio album, which is scheduled for release in late 2026. As always, the songs are evolving step by step—from musical ideas and melodies to lyrics that reflect personal experiences, social issues, and the world around us. Looking back, it’s hard to believe that what began as a small studio project has grown into five albums and many years of musical collaboration. None of us would have expected this journey to last this long. We just wanted to make the music we loved—without commercial pressure, without compromises, and without the expectations of the music industry. And yet here we are, still enjoying every new song, every new idea, and every new challenge. We still have a lot of work ahead of us, and we’re not ready to reveal any details yet. But one thing we can promise:

New songs are on the way.
New stories are waiting to be told.
