For quite a while, our new album didn't have a title. Of course, we had plenty of ideas – including some of the titles of our new songs. But somehow, none of them seemed to capture the album as a whole.
Eventually, one word kept coming back:
DIGNITY
Dignity isn't the title of any song on the album. But the word reflects many of the themes running through the new music: the passing of time, truth and lies, memories, loss and change – and the way we deal with all of it.
Once we had the name, the idea for the cover began to take shape as well: a face marked and weathered by time, partly crumbling away – yet still turned towards the light.
DIGNITY felt right. So we stopped looking for another name.
The fifth Riven Earth album will be released in autumn 2026.
